Mevlana Exchange Programme is an international programme the aim of which is to provide an opportunity for the exchange of students and academic staff between the Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries. With the regulation dated 23 August 2011 (no. 28034), students and academic staff exchange between Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries has been possible. The programme includes all higher education institutions throughout the world with no particular preference. However, those higher education institutions of EU countries benefiting from the Erasmus programme are not included in the Mevlana Exchange Programme.
